Chelsea agree £300k-a-week deal for 16-goal Real Madrid attacker target

Chelsea have become one of the most successful Premier League Clubs and their status as one of the biggest Clubs in the world is unquestionable. Many starlets in football would be hoping to lace their boots for the Stamford Bridge outfit.

For the Blues, keeping their players/team together has not been a pipe dream. We have not been a selling Club but have rather attracted to best leg of football to Stamford Bridge. According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea have offered Eden Hazard a pay rise to keep him at the Club for the foreseeable future.

Hazard has been the standout attacking player for the Blues this term, scoring 16 goals in all competitions, but he has attracted keen interest from Los Blancos. Zinedine Zidane has been a staunch admirer of the Belgian and he reportedly wants him at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hazard still has three years left on his current contract and is on a £200,000k-a-week deal with Chelsea. The report claims the Blues are offering to pay him £100k more than he currently earns to make the highest paid Chelsea player.

Chelsea have built their counter-attacking forward style on Hazard and they cannot afford to lose the 26-year-old. The Blues are now back in the Champions League and so there is no major attraction for him at Madrid where he may not even play regularly.

Antonio Conte has been applauded for his effort this season but he would need a large squad but quality squad to be able to compete in the Champions League next term. The Blues have already been linked with a move for several star players.
