Borrussia Dortmund have held talks with Chelsea over a potential swap that will see Callum Hudson-Odoi move to Signa Iduna Park in exchange for Christian Pulisic, this according to reports.
Pulisic has been on the transfer radar of Chelsea since the summer. The Blues reportedly made offers to sign him in the summer but Borrussia Dortmund held their ground and refused to let him go.
And now reports have claimed that Dortmund have realised that they may be unable to persuade Pulisic to stay at the club but they have proposed a squad deal with Chelsea that would see Hudson-Odoi move the opposite direction.
Hudson-Odoi has showed so much prospect but he has been unable to dislodge any of the senior wingers to a place in Sarri’s squad and he is said to be frustrated at his situation at the moment.
The 18-year-old star has been offered contract extension deals to keep him at Stamford Bridge but he has refused to sign the same and the top brass of Chelsea are afraid he could ditch the club in search of regular game time.
Several clubs have been mentioned by Goal as his suitors. Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Borrussia Dortmund have all been monitoring his situation.
For Dortmund, they want to take advantage of the Chelsea’s interest in Pulisic and complete a swap deal for the players.
