Chamberlain drops massive hint over Arsenal departure, £28m Liverpool move on card

While the clubs of the Premier League are gradually shifting their attention to their League openers, the fans of the English clubs are waiting for new signings to be made before the close of the window.

Arsenal contract rebel Alex Oxlade Chamberlain has dropped a huge hint that he could complete a dream move to Liverpool, reports Liverpoolecho.

Chamberlain is in the final year of his contract with Arsenal but he has stalled over new deal with the Gunners. Arsenal reportedly offered him an improved offer with a £100k-a-week wages but the English star turned down the Gunners offer.

Liverpool have been credited with interest for the versatile winger but they are yet to make any offers for him. According to the report cited, Chamberlain took twitter to like a post claiming that he will join the Reds in a  28million pounds deal.’

Arsenal have bolstered their squad this summer but have failed to sign any winger that would compete with Chamberlain for a place. However, the 23-year star may not get to play regularly given the new formation used by Arsene Wenger.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have failed to sign their transfer target Naby Keita and given the ability of Chamberlain to also play from midfield, they can have him in their side.

It is said that the lure of Champions League is the main reason Chamberlain would consider joining the Reds but Arsene Wenger is certainly not going to allow him most improved and versatile player leave.
