Bayern Munich have halted in their pursuit to sign Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Hudson-Odoi is the jewel of the crown at the club and Chelsea have struck out every possibility of clubs stealing him away from Stamford Bridge.
Bayern were hugely keen on bringing the attacker to Germany and had previously lodged four bids, all turned completely down by Chelsea who have managed to build a wall round the player.
Hudson-Odoi is a fantastic attacker and has proved it several times, especially in the FA fourth round tie with Sheffield Wednesday, when he found the back of the net, and posed a constant threat to the League Two side.
Hudson-Odoi has been moaning over his lack of regular time on the pitch and is believed to have handed a transfer request to Chelsea, requesting that the club drop him so he can join the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern want a permanent deal for Hudson-Odoi, but Chelsea have stifle their progress in bringing that into fruition. Chelsea want a buyback clause for inserted in the deal, but Bayern have rejected their offer.
Bayern boss Niko Kovac on Thursday, speaking at a press conference, revealed Bayern had pulled out of the race for Hudson-Odoi, saying there was “nothing more happening.”
