Arsenal have snatched up Denis Suárez reports claim. The Barcelona man will join the north London club for a reported fee of 2.5 million euros according to the Standard.
Arsenal have been trying to sign Saurez for long spells since the window opened on 1 January.
Barcelona had played hardball over the midfielder’s departure to the Premier League, and would only sanction a deal for him if he extended his stay at Barcelona, which is now claimed to have been done by the player.
Gunners are yet to finish their business in the transfer market and manager Unai Emery is still pressing to make one more signing before the window shuts in less that 48 hours.
Manchester United target Ivan Perisic is the man Emery has scribbled on paper to give to the Arsenal board to bring into the fifth-place side.
Perisic was keen to move to Manchester United in 2017 when Jose Mourinho still managed the club and a deal of around 40 million pounds had been agreed by both clubs, although it turned out it was a complete farce.
A mooted fee of around 30 million euros is said to have been agreed between Arsenal and Inter Milan should Gunners decide to make the deal permanent for the Croatian winger.
However, it is said a deal for the former United target has been agreed says Eurosport.
