Spanish international left-back Alberto Moreno is still stiff-necked about leaving Liverpool and has asked the club to forget about offering him a deal to extend his stay at The Kop.
Moreno has had a torrid affair at Anfield under boss Jurgen Klopp. The Spaniard had lamented over his treatment at the club since making his way back into the squad.
Moreno is determined to leave after falling outside Klopp’s options for left-back with Andy Robertson the choicest of that berth.
Liverpool are still holding off on releasing the player and Klopp’s side have been mired by injury issues entering the latter half of the season.
Moreno is ready to quit despite a chance of getting more starts in other Leagues, which is already in the bag for the left-back.
The 26-year-old wants a switch to La Liga side Sevilla, although talks are not in the pipeline yet, despite tabling his wishes.
Offers have also been pouring in for the left-back from the Serie A, and it is claimed the Spaniard is willing to accept offers from that side.
Murmurs of another staggering offers is said to have been received by the player from Turkey and Russia, but the player’s wishes has remained clear–a move to Spain is what’s on the wings.
