Liverpool have jumped late in, in the race for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The blooming Chelsea attacker is wanted by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga toppers have seen four previous bids for Hudson-Odoi shoved away by Chelsea, despite the side still pressing to sign him.
Chelsea are reluctant about letting the 18-year-old leave and have tabled a newly improved bid to hold on to him. The Blues have held out in negotiations with Bayern and have offered a 70,000-pounds-a-week wage to the 18-year-old.
Hudson-Odoi has remained stubborn in negotiations with Chelsea over staying at the output, stalling extension talks with Chelsea.
Hudson-Odoi wants more game time on the pitch after just racking only three appearances in the Premier League this term.
Bayern saw their last bid of 35 million pounds rejected by Chelsea. But the Blues face a tougher challenging stifling the progress of clubs trying to sign the boisterous youngster.
Leaders Liverpool have entered the fray, according to reports, for Hudson-Odoi. Representatives from Anfield met with Hudson-Odoi and his brother, according to reports, at the start of January.
Hudson-Odoi contract at the club expires by 2020, and if he pens no deal down, Chelsea may be tempted to sell, but will be strongly reluctant to allow a switch to Anfield.
