Talented player and former Akwa United midfielder John Ogu has fessed up about his dreams playing for his childhood club north Londoners Arsenal.
Arsenal are locked in a fierce fight for a place in the top four and climbed three points closer to Chelsea, after drubbing their neighbours two goals to nil.
Ogu who is an Arsenal fan, took to Twitter about his obsession for Unai Emery’s side, and says he strongly believes he would get the call, after seeing fellow African Kevin Prince Boateng sign for Barcelona on loan, until the end of the season.
Barcelona picked Boateng from Italian side Sassuolo, and included a clause to sign him at the end of his six-month loan stint at the Nou Camp.
Ogu, thrilled by the deal couldn’t bottle up the flurry of excitement and took to Twitter to express his joy over Boateng’s completed loan move to Barcelona.
The Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder admitted he is hopeful he can make it into Arsenal’s senior team. He twitted: “The day God go do my own dey come as e do Kelvin Boateng own to Barcelona. Baba God Na your hand I dey. Na Just @Arsenal.”
His declaration saw plenty of well-wishes pour in, on the social network, with fans scattered across the country wishing he gets the call too.
