Spanish and Barcelona midfielder Dennis Suarez has informed Arsenal of his desire to join them at the end of the season, reports AS.
Suarez is yet to feature for Barcelona this season and he has set his sight on quitting the club in a bid to rescue his career.
He joined Barcelona in 2013 from Man City but he has been unable to establish himself as a first team player. He featured for the Blaugranas side in 18 League games last season but he has failed to get on the bench for Ernesto Valverde this term.
Valencia and Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Spaniard but Arsenal are frontrunners for his signature following his latest comment.
Unai Emery bolstered the squad of the Gunners in the summer but the latest decision to allow Aaron Ramsey to leave the North London club may have prompted them to go back to the market.’
Ramsey is in the final year of his contract with Arsenal and the club withdrew their offer for him. He will leave in January or the summer, with most Arsenal fans unhappy about his situation.
Even if Suarez joins Arsenal, he may not get into the first team of Arsenal but we keep our fingers crossed.
