Former Liverpool, now turned Barcelona striker Luiz Suárez has welcomed the idea of a return back to Anfield to play for Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp’s side are locked in a closely tight race for the Premier League title with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Liverpool could end their long bout of trophyless previous campaigns this season.
The Reds are four points ahead of Manchester City, and while they need to be careful about making any silly slips, they surely need to keep hitting their pedals harder up front.
Their lethal three is one of the best strike-forces in club football, and Suárez agrees his former team still plays terrific football.
The Uruguayan was the spine of Reds attack when he joined from Ajax in 2011, before his switch to Barcelona where he has successfully charmed everyone with his powerful and pressing game style.
The 31-year-old bagged a total of 69 goals in 110 appearances for the Merseysiders, before his departure to the La Liga where he turned the knob in his performance a little higher.
Suárez a decorated striker has scored 125 goals in 149 appearances for Barcelona, and admitted to 11Freunde that he would enjoy training under Jurgen Klopp.
“But yes, every player would like to train under Jurgen Klopp.” He said when asked if he’d like to play under Klopp.
