Manchester United may have to look elsewhere for another sterling attacker other than Jadon Sancho.
The England international’s club Borussia Dortmund has ruled out his sale this summer.
Sancho is one of United’s top targets this summer, however, Dortmund have punctured that growing bubble of hope that they can land the bright England star this summer as they look to beef up things up front.
The 18-year-old will remain at Borussia Dortmund next season insisted club’s sporting director Michael Zorc.
Sancho plays a vital role in Dortmund’s title hopes this campaign and the German outfit want to keep him beyond this season despite the lure to sell him to a club like United too tempting to resist.
His sale could generate so much for the club given how much his worth has triple since he arrived from England from Manchester City in 2017.
According to SunSport, United have lodged a 70 million pounds bid in hopes they can bait Dortmund to accept their offer and sell him off.
And threats from the French Ligue 1 have been credited. Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly sniffing around the player, but Zorc has refused to yield to the heaping pressures to flog him in the summer.
He told Sport Bild: “Jadon will play for Borussia Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.
“I am far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I maintain that his transfer would be hard to beat even for the biggest clubs in the world at the moment.”
