Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria has axed his season-long loan to Scottish outfit Rangers.
Ejaria wants a quick return to Anfield and has refused to settle down at Rangers.
The 21-year-old refused to put pen to paper and Rangers growing over his frustration, have decided to terminate his deal at the club.
Ejaria was trimmed out of the squad that lost 1-0 to Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Steven Gerrard’s side were pipped in their bid to earn a spot in the knockout stages of the Europa League.
Gerrard claimed the midfielder showed some streaks of ill-behaviour and therefore had to be dropped in their loss against Vienna on Thursday.
Rangers released a statement saying: “Rangers and Liverpool have agreed to terminate Ovie Ejaria’s Ibrox loan period.
“Ovie will be returning to Liverpool immediately.
“The midfield player has not settled in Scotland and wishes to continue his career back with his parent club.
“Ovie arrived at Ibrox in June and played 28 matches including 11 times in the Europa League, scoring twice for the Gers.”
Rangers thanked the 21-year-old for his commitment and efforts.
