Arsenal cruised on a comfortable 4-2 win over Ukrainian side Vorskla Polta in the Europa League to record a fourth consecutive win in all competitions.
Aubameyang scored a brace in their Europa clash against the Ukrainian side, before Danny Welbeck and meut Ozil sealed a much deserved win fro the North London side.
After the match, Aubameyang praised the team for their efforts, but remarked “we need to improve”.
The forward wants the Arsenal to be more formidable at the back following two late consolations in the clash against Vorskla.
‘I think we played well in the first half and at the beginning of the second as well and we scored four goals, but we need to improve and fight to not concede goals like we did in the last few minutes,’ he said.
About winning the Europe’s second-tier competition–Europa League–the Gabon international is delighted to be playing in the competition after missing out last year.
He added: “Of course we want to win it [the Europa League], especially for me because I didn’t play in the competition last year and I am really happy to be back in this competition.”
Arsenal return to Premier League action at home on Sunday, taking on Magpies Everton, before the EFL Cup third round clash with Brentford on Wed September 26.
