Denis Suárez still remains an option for Gunners as clubs across Europe enter the final stretch of the transfer window.
Arsenal have been looking to strengthen their midfield area since being on the backfoot in that department.
The Gunners are trying to sign Denis Suárez as widely known. Though last week BBC’S David Ornstein claimed Gunners are a long way off hammering out a deal for the Spaniard, sources are claiming Arsenal may have finally managed to convince Barcelona to let go of Suárez who has struggled to shine at the club.
For now, it would be hard to swallow that claim, and while it still a hanging report, Arsenal have their eyes on another target as they hope to push two deals through the window this month.
Gunners have been credited with a interest in Ivan Perisic and Yannick Carrasco, but it is Carrasco who is more likely to be their target.
Gunners have thrown their last dice, and Carrasco appears to be the man they want his want him off their wage bill permanently, an option that has been struck out of Arsenal transfer plans this month.
Gunners also face a threat to their position in the Premier League after losing Hector Bellerin to a long term injury and Sokratis Papastathopoulos in their defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round.
