Arsene Wenger tacitly makes bold statement on why Arsenal will win the League

Arsene Wenger has failed to win the Premier League for the last 12-years but the French tactician has continued to remain on the reigns of the London club.

Since joining Arsenal, the French tactician has fervently led Arsenal to Champions League qualification but he was pipped by Manchester City and Liverpool to a final top-four finish last term. The Gunner will now play the second tier of UEFA competition next term.

Arsenal shambolic season stirred much protest at the Emirates during the course of the season as a lot of fans have lost hope on the French tactician. However, Arsene Wenger signed another two year contract and he will continue to man the helms of the Club.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming season, Arsene Wenger has bemoaned their failure to qualify for the Champions League but he’s tacitly revealed why the Gunners are in pole position to win the League, per report.

“I would have loved to play in the Champions League, but we have to deal with the reality that we are not in it,” said Wenger on the club’s official website.
Playing the Europa League has handed Arsenal a two-way Champions League qualification via the Premier League and the Europa League. The Gunners will qualify for the Champions League if they finish the season in the first quartet of the League and if they also win the Europa League.
Wenger went further to reveal why Arsenal are in pole position to win the Premier League, stating that their absence from the Champions League gives them an advantage. He added that.
“For us it is a good opportunity to focus completely on the Premier League, but anyway I would say that the Premier League has in my opinion taken over from the Champions League interest-wise.
Arsenal will have to contend with the Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham but Wenger has spent only on one player.
