Arsenal willing to agree £44m deal for winger

Arsenal are yet to lose a game after their back to back defeats to Man City and Chelsea at the start of the season. Although the Gunners look strong to compete in the Premier League, they have obvious weaknesses that have been exploited by opponent.

The North London club are willing to reinforce their squad in the January transfer window and they have been heavily linked with a move for Nicolas Pepe, according to reports.

The Ivorian winger joined Lille in the summer of 2017, and his stock has been on the increase since then. Despite playing as a winger, he has been able to score quite a number of goals – last term, he scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists in the League and he has refused to take his foot off the throttle this term.

According to Telefoot, Arsenal are willing to part with 50 million euros (£44million) in a bid to land the winger. However, we are not the only club linked with a move for him, have also been mentioned as suitors for the rising star.

Arsenal are a tad short of quality options on the wing as Iwobi, who can play as a midfielder and Aubameyang have been mainly deployed there.
