Arsenal transfer news update: Mbappe, Lemar, Lacazette, Chamberlain and more

It feels more and more frustrating to be an Arsenal fan at this point in time and the major reason is Arsenal’s inability to meet the valuation of some of their transfer prime target. Although, Arsenal have completed the signing of Sead Kolasinac but the team needs to be strengthened in the attack and defense.

Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League of the upcoming season and it was attributed to the lack of quality in the side. To remedy this, Arsenal have made just a signing this summer but have been heavily linked with the transfer of Alexandre Lacazette, Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez. GFN takes a swipe at Arsenal transfer news.

Alexandre Lacazette

Lacazette was heavily linked with Arsenal transfer last summer. We made bid for the player but it was rebuffed because it fell short of their valuation. We have returned with bids for the French star and reports have indicated that Lyon have thrown out our bids yet again.

They are holding out for £49m but Wenger in his frugal nature does not think Lacazette is worth that amount

Thomas Lemar

The versatile attacker emerged this week as a prime transfer  target for the Gunners and like Lacazette, we understand that Arsenal’s £30m bid for him as been thrown out. There is no telling if Wenger will return with an improve bid for the skillful left footer.

Riyad Mahrez

Arsenal have had a long-standing interest in Mahrez and the player has revealed that he wants a move from the King-power Stadium. No offer has been made for the Algerian star but if Arsenal moves for the players of the French Ligue continues hit the rock, Wenger might have no choice than to sign Mahrez.

Kylian Mbappe

Monaco have reportedly asked Arsenal to pay over £100million but it will amount to reckless spending for a teenager. Wenger greatly admires the player but may not be able to sign him because of his price tag

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Liverpool have a long-standing interest in Chamberlain and the English star has stalled over new contract with Arsenal. The Reds wants to take advantage of his situation at Arsenal and lure him to Anfield. The Reds will have to pay about £25m for Chamberlain.
