Arsenal to beat Tottenham to the signing of in-form defender

The transfer window is gradually moving through gears and clubs are not miles off from hitting top gears. News outlets have entered the fray, looking to pick up slices of information. And the latest making the rounds at Arsenal is that the Gunners are chasing a deal to sign in-form star Max Aarons.

Arsenal headed into the game against Liverpool in a good run of form only to be trumped completely after going ahead at Anfield.

While Unai Emery has done a good job shaking up things and revamping the side after inheriting it from predecessor Arsene Wenger in the summer of 2018, a lot of patchwork in the defence is urgently needed.

Young lad Max Aarons is said to be catching the eyes already in the Gunners camp, however the Norwich are desperate to hold on to the 15 million pounds-rated starlet.

The teenager defender has emerged as one of the brightest lads in England following a wonderful start to last season for Norwich.

Aaron is strong defensively and is keen on the attack also which makes tracking back behind the opposition an easy task to handle. But the Gunners will face city rivals Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.

Tottenham are also keen on scooping up the youngster who have kept watchful eyes on the player. However, it is said that the Gunners will throw the kitchen sink to nab him before Spurs do.
