Arsenal to agree swap deal for South-American Barcelona attacker, player wants move

Time was when Catalan Club Barcelona and Arsenal shared a similar that of play, which is why there is a general acceptance and belief that a Barcelona player would easily settle in the team of Arsenal and vice versa.

Hector Bellerin and Arda Tura have popped up in the transfer news of Arsenal with no deal in sight. However, in the Monday edition of Spanish Newspaper Marca, Barcelona would offer Rafinha in swap deal to get Bellerin.

According to the report, Rafinha has not been playing regularly for the Camp Nou outfits and he now fancies a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal as his most probable destination given their style of play.

If Rafinha does not play regularly for Barcelona, it may affect his chances of playing for Brazil in the World Cup next year. However, Arsene Wenger is understood to be interested in signing the player as he believes he would add quality and depth to his otherwise strong and injury-prone midfield.

Arsenal have placed a Premium price tag on Hector Bellerin but Barcelona believes, they will afford him if Rafinha is added to mix. The 24-year-old Brazilian is valued at  €30m but is Bellerin really worth it? for Barcelona maybe but we wait to see how this pans out.

Rafinha made 26 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions last term and scored seven Clubs including two assists.
