Arsenal to agree swap deal for £60million-rated striker wanted by Chelsea

Arsenal fans could see yet another star of the club join a rival club in the Premier League but they may get a worthy equivalent in return.

Alexis Sanchez has become unsettled at the Emirates Stadium as he entered the last 12 months of his contract at the club and has refused to sign a new deal.

The Gunners failed to qualify for next season Champions League and Sanchez obviously wants out of the club. He has been linked with a host of clubs, but a reunion with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City being the height of them.

According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Guardiola is also desperate to bring his former player to the Etihad Stadium in a deal that could see Sergio Aguero move the other way.

Guardiola has not been too impressed with the forward work rate and the arrival of Gabriel Jesus has further challenged the Argentine’s place in the first team, and he doesn’t seem to be part of the Spanish boss plans for next season.

While Arsene Wenger may be reluctant to let his star player move to City, the inclusion of Aguero in the deal may tempt him than to lose the Chilean international for free next summer.

However, Aguero is also a target for Chelsea and he may prefer a move there because of Champions League football as they look to replace Diego  Costa.

The Blues are understood to be plotting a £60million move for Aguerro.
