Arsenal to agree £70m double deal including Chelsea prime target

Arsenal are weighing on double deal for  Boca Juniors winger Cristian Pavon and impressive Roma star Cengiz Under, this is according to reports.

The Gunner’s 22-game unbeaten run was surprisingly ended by Southampton on Sunday. The Saints brought to the fore the weaknesses of the North London club, which was apparently in the defence and wing.

Emery has revealed that Arsenal will be in the market to sign reinforcements, with their focus being on the defence. However, Arsenal are looking to bolster their attack as it is given that they will sign a replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck.

According to rife reports, Arsenal are willing to pay £40 million to sign Argentina forward Cristian Pavon.

Pavon was firmly on the transfer radar of Arsenal in the summer but no offer was made for him. He will be subjected to a bid from the London club in January.

Meanwhile, Tuttomercatoweb  reports that Arsenal have tabled a  £29 million (€32m) bid to Roma in a bid to secure the services of in-form Cengiz Under.

Under is one of the standout performers for Roma this season and he has attracted heavy interest from the Premier League. Chelsea are interested in signing the player but it is believed that the Gunners are in pole position to secure his signature.
