Arsenal receive massive injury boost ahead of Manchester United class

Injuries have mostly scuppered the title chase of Arsenal to the points that training method and pitch were investigated. This season, the injuries have been minimal and Arsene Wenger will be hoping that majority or all of his key players are fit ahead of the hectic festive schedule.

Arsenal have been boosted by the return to full training of English star midfielder Theo Walcott, who has been out of action since a fortnight ago through illness.

Walcott has been mainly used in the second team of Arsene Wenger, playing mainly in the Europa League competition and other domestic competitions other than the Premier League.

Walcott, 28, has featured for less than an hour in the league this term and his last game for the Gunners came earlier this month. However, Arsene Wenger will want him to be fit so as to have options in his final third.

The main injury concern for Arsene Wenger is Santi Cazorla, who is said to be training on his own and scheduled to return in January.

Arsene Wenger has managed two different teams this season and Walcott has been a lead man for the what can be termed the B team.

Arsenal play Huddlesfield Town tomorrow before hosting Manchester United in the weekend’s crunch tie.
