Premier League giants Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Benfica’s youngster Andrija Zivkovic. The winger played a major role in Benfica’s road to the league title win last season, but the Portuguese Champions could find it difficult to keep him for a very long time as there are several European clubs who have shown their interest to work with the promising youngster.
According to Football London, Arsene Wenger is set to spend big for the player’s signature in the summer. It is believed that the Gunners will spend a fee not less than £52.5million if they must beat Manchester United to Andrija’s service.
The Serbian winger has featured as a central midfielder for the Portuguese giants so far this season, and that could make him the perfect addition to Wenger’s team who haven’t been doing well at the defensive midfield position.
It is yet to been seen if Andrija Živković would want to join Arsenal at the expense of Manchester United who look more likely to qualify for next season’s Champions League as they currently occupy the second position in the Premier table compared to Wenger’s men who are sixth on the log.
