Unlike some of the top Clubs of the World like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United, Arsenal pay just lip-interest in some players as Arsene Wenger’s frugality has cost him the services of some world class players.
The need for Arsenal to bolster their attack is apparent and the Gunners have lined-up some players as transfer targets. Wenger has made Monaco star Kylian Mbappe as priority signing but should the price be too steep, Man United’s Anthony Martial has been added to wishlist of Arsene Wenger, reports the Mail.
Martial joined Man United as a marquee signing in the penultimate season in a £36 million record deal for a teenager but the French attacker dropped in the selection perking order of the Red Devils since Mourinho too charge of the reigns of United.
Wenger is prepared to offer the star attacker an escape route to the Emirates and GFN understands that Arsenal are willing to test the resolve of United with £40m ($51million). There is no love lost between Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho, and so, a deal for Anthony Martial may just be a pipe dream for the Gunners.
Man United are yet to bolster their attack and as a matter of fact, the Red Devils are thin in attack, which is why i don’t a player with prospect like Martial will be let to exit Old Trafford.
Mbappe and Lacazette appear at the helms of Arsenal’s transfer list but the price tag of Mbappe has thrown Wenger off his pursuit but Lacazette may soon become a Gunner if Wenger agrees to meet his valuation.
