Arsenal on the verge of signing silky Spanish playmaker

Manchester United will not stop veteran midfielder and world class playmaker Juan Mata from leaving the club next summer when he will be out of contract.

The phenomenal former Chelsea player joined the Red Devils in 2014 from Chelsea and has since then gone to be one of the standouts in United.

Mata nicked the equaliser against Juventus on Wednesday at Turin from a set-piece to hold the little flame of hope for a win at Italy, before a deflected shot of Bonuccci gave them a hard-fought win over the Italians.

Mata will join Arsenal next summer on a free says TalkSPORT host Andrian Durham.

Drivetime host Durham who ran the show alongside Jason Cundy, in a boldly manner said that  the Spaniard will be going to Arsenal on a free. He rambled on about how he got it from his close source at the Emirates and why his revelations should be taken seriously.

If what Durham says, eventually turns out to be true, it will not be the first time the 31-year-old will be playing for Unai Emery. It is understood both of them worked together during their stint at Valencia, before Mata departed the La Liga outfit.

Though this is not official, Durham refuses to blow off the message as a mere rumour, saying “This is what I have heard, it is not official. My sources close to the club have said he is going to Arsenal on a free.

“By the way, when it happens, you can all ring up and say ‘We doubted you but, as ever, you were right.’”
