Arsenal on the brink of agreeing deal for Petr Cech replacement, announcement close

Arsenal signed Bayern Leverkusen Bernd Leno in the summer in an attempt to bolster their goalkeeping ranks.

The move paid out well, but Arsenal are still keen on adding more depth and are keen on bringing in 19-year-old Radoslaw Majecki.

The Gunners, who have been keeping a keen eye on the Poland international, could bring him in as later as January next year.

Majecki drew attention from Arsenal after his brilliant display for club Legia Warsaw. The teenager, has now, Arsenal plotting a move to sign him January.

Leno has been the glovesman since Petr Cech went down with a knock and has yet to return between the sticks.

Still considered a bit too young to fit into the senior team at the Emirates, there are suggestions milling about, revealing that Arsenal will sign the youngster and loan him out to Legia Warsaw for the rest of the season.

He has been touted as Cech’s replacement, despite making six league appearances this term for the Polish outfit, per reports.

Legia want to hold on to the youngster, it is understood. However, the financial situation will not forbid them from listening to offers from the Gunners in January.

Majecki could make a huge impact for the Gunners in the coming years, if they sign him up in January.
