Shaktar Donestk manager, who is being linked with a move to Arsenal, Paulo Fosenca has reportedly arrived in London alongside his agent Jorge Mendes for contract discussion.
According to the Record, the impressive manager who helped his team to the seventh consecutive Ukrainian League title was seen at London having a discussion with one of West Ham’s executives yesterday.
The media outlet further reported that Fosenca stayed with the Hammers’ chief —David Sullivan — for more than an hour due to the intensity of their discussion.
With David Moyes set to leave the Hammers this summer having refused to renew his contract, West are looking at the prospect of hiring Fosenca as the Scottish replacement.
Meanwhile, Everton are also eyeing a possible move for the manager after parting ways with Sam Allardyce last night. The ‘Big Sam’ failed to live up to expectations in the just concluded season, and the Toffees have terminated his contract with them.
The Merseyside club are also in the race to hire former Watford manager Marco Silva, should they fail in their bid to bring in any of their top targets before the start of next season.
Though the manager didn’t have the experience of managing a Premier League side in his coaching career, Fosenca is tipped to do well in the League irrespective of the club he ends up with in the summer.
