Arsenal will be looking to prove a point against run-away Premier League leaders Manchester City when they host the side at the Emirates later tonight.
The game tonight is the Club’s second meeting in four days and this is coming after the Gunners were thumped in the Carabao Cup game final. Pep Guardiola won his first trophy for Man City under the nose of Arsene Wenger and several school boys mistakes cost Arsenal the game – the defeat stirred so much criticism for Wenger whose time at the club is said to be up.
The only trophy that the Gunners can now win is the Europa Cup and that also provides an outside chance for the Club to qualify for the Champions League as it is given that they are already out of the top four race.
Wenger has been at the helms of Arsenal for the past two decades but this appears to be his worst season so far. The Gunners have managed to win only two game in their last 16 against the big Premier League Clubs.
