Arsenal have signaled their interest in the signing of rising Portuguese and Benfica star midfielder Joao Felix, this is according to report.
The fans of Arsenal have bemoaned the lack of creativity from the middle of the pack since Santi Cazorla picked up a career threatening injury. Although, the likes of Ramsey and Wilshere have done well, they have been unable to replicate Cazorla, who helps the Gunners maintain possession and offer threats in attack creatively.
The future of Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere is currently uncertain as they have stalled over signing new deals and have been linked with a move away from the club. You would expect Arsenal to sign players that can walk straight into the first team of the club if any of the aforementioned players leave but expect anything from Arsenal.
Portuguese media outlet O Jogo have claimed that Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the 18-year-old. The report went further to claim that Felix has a £52million release clause but an offer of £35m might be accepted, which is fair knowing Arsene Wenger’s penchant for spending big in the transfer window.
However, Arsenal are not the only club that have signaled interest in the signing of the player – Manchester United and Manchester City are also interested as claimed by the Express.
