It is now only a matter of when and not if Arsene Wenger will leave the helms of Arsenal’s affairs. The French manager is gradually destroying his hard earned reputation and his days as the manager of Arsenal are numbered despite his claims that he will turn things around.
Several names have been thrown into the fray as possible replacement for the troubled manager but German tactician Joachim Low is said to be the favourite to replace Wenger, this is according to report.
Arsenal are currently wallowing in sixth position on the Premier League log with an alarmingly poor defensive record, worse than Brighton in 13th position and even Burnley in seventh position. The Gunners are also 13 points adrift Tottenham in fourth position and their only hope at Champions qualification is only if they win the Europa Cup, a feat that seemingly looks impossible.
There are claims that the board of the Club have met over the decadence at Arsenal and they have drawn a list of coaches that could be replace Arsene Wenger, with Low high up on the list, claims ESPN.
Arsene Wenger is in the final 18 months of his contract but there is no telling if he will see out his contract. Meanwhile, Low is poised to quit coaching the Germany national team after the World Cup and reports have suggested he could move to Arsenal.
