Antonio Conte sanctions Chelsea deal for €40m-rated star

Antonio Conte is wary of losing first choice goalkeeper and he has asked the board of Chelsea to meet the contract demands of the Belgian shot-stopper, this is according to reports.

Courtois is in the final two years of his current contract and he has stalled over a new deal. Real Madrid have been monitoring his situation at Stamford Bridge and they are already weighing up  a bid for him.

The shot-stopper had an impressive spell with Atletico Madrid and his girlfriend is said to be from there, and these reasons are a big lure for the 25-year-old.

Courtois returned to Stamford Bridge and force Petr Cech to a transfer in the summer 2015. Conte is impressive with the star and he wants the Blues to tie him down to the club for long term.

“He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has a great potential,” Conte said.
