Anthony Martial sends message to Jose Mourinho ahead of Newcastle clash

Manchester United striker, Anthony Martial was at his best against Germany in an international friendly match on Friday at Cologne, France.

The highlight of his wonderful display was his solo run towards the German half before teaming up with Alexandre Lacazette for a simple tap in.

Martial, who hasn’t seen much game time this season played as a left winger for the French side. He hardly put a wrong foot throughout the encounter.

He created a great understanding with Arsenal forward, Alexandre Lacazette who scored with a simple finish.

Speaking to Newsmen during the post-match conference, the coach of the French side Didier Deschamps, applauds the display from the team as a whole.

“It’s good for the team, it’s good for them,” he said

He also has a special praise for the Manchester United striker.

Martial performance is definitely sending an impulse to José Mourinho, reminding the coach of his quality.

Martial has scored 6 goals this season including an important goal he scored against Tottenham Hotspur. All of his goals have been scored after coming on from the bench.

Romelu Lukaku also scored for Belgium against Japan to become the all-time leading goalscorer for his country with 31 goals.

Having played 7 games without a goal for United, Lukaku will hope to rediscover his goalscoring form when the Premier league resumes on Saturday.

Other Manchester players who were active during the international break include Lingard, Rashford, Daley Blind, De Gea and Ashley Young.
