According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, it was claimed Paris Saint-Germain were ready to spend big on acquiring his services, after Catalans Barcelona aimed at bringing on Adrien Rabiot.
Paris Saint-Germain’s director of football Antero Henrique is an avid admirers of the midfield enforcer, and is claimed to have been willing to pull all stops to bring Kante to Parc de Princes this sssummer.
Chelsea already suffered a blow when a frustrated Thibaut Courtois left for Real Madrid. And could have been dealt another if winger Willian and playmaker Eden Hazard had left the outfit.
Despite Paris Saint-Germain rapping about signing the player, Chelsea is understood to have batted away advanced from the club and remained adamant, insisting they will not give up the French international.
