Scottish star and Hull City defender Andrew Robertson has completed a move to Merseyside Club Liverpool, according to reports.
Robertson arrived Liverpool’s Cobham training centre on Tuesday for his medical and finalisation of his proposed £8million(€9miilion) move. He was spotted after the medical and is expected to join up with the Reds in their pre-season tour in Germany next week as Klopp prepares for the the upcoming season.
The Reds fans had bemoaned the lack of transfer activities at the Club after the signing of Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah, but the 23-year-old Scottish becomes Liverpool’s third summer of signing.
Klopp had resorted to playing James Milner in the left back position after Alberto Moreno failed to step up his performance – Moreno’s future becomes increasing uncertain and the Reds are now looking to recoup £15million from his sale.
Robertson is expected to be first choice at left back for the Reds, leaving James Milner to fight for his place in the midfield.
The impressive left back joined Hull City from Dundee United in the summer of 2014 in a £2.85 million deal and since established himself as a mainstay in the defense of the Tigers. However, his stellar performance for the Club was unable to save them from relegation last term.
