Announcement imminent: Chelsea agree £40m fee for transfer of mega star

Mitchy Batshuayi wants his spell at La Liga side Valencia, axed quickly after his poor start to life at the Spanish club.

French relegation-threatened side Monaco have been acknowledged with interest in the 25-year-old. Monaco are still yet to haggle a price fee for the star, who is very discomfited at Valencia.

Chelsea are keen to let the player leave permanently, and are reportedly stalling his move to the French club.

Monaco are interested in Batshuayi, but Chelsea prefer offloading him permanently. The Blues are hopeful Everton will scoop up the player.

The Merseysiders want to strengthen their squad this term, and “Bat mobile” has been lined up to add quality to their frontline. However, the club want to offset some costs before signing any player this month.

The Toffees already have a long list of players they want off their wage bill and have halted in their plans to bring in recruits this term.

Chelsea are hopeful Toffees will make a late move for the player after starting with a not-so impressive bid of 14 million pounds.

Batshuayi’s valuation has been set at 40 million pounds by Chelsea. The striker has returned to Chelsea after spending previous spells at Borussia Dortmund and Valencia.
