Arsenal have signed only two players in this transfer window but Arsene Wenger claimed that he cannot managed the headcount of his squad, hence a clear out has begun.
From the senior team, Gabriel Paulista moved to Valencia last week and England international Kieran Gibbs is now on the cusp of switching Arsenal for Galatasaray, according to reports.
Gibbs has laced his boots for Arsenal for the entire duration of his professional career and he broke into the scene of Arsenal when Gael Clichy left for Man City. Nonetheless, Gibbs has struggled with injuries over the years, playing second fiddle to Nacho Monreal.
Arsenal signed on Sead Kolasinac this summer and the Bosnian has impressed all and sundry with his performance from the Gunner’s pre-season games. Gibbs has fallen the lowest point of the selection pecking order of Arsene Wenger and his best bet at playing regularly is away from Arsenal.
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, the 27-year-old left back is on the verge of completing a move to Galatasaray. It is claimed that the father of Gibbs, Dr Ekan Sogut has held talks with the Turkish side over a deal for the player and the deal as believed, would be completed the week.
Arsenal are expected to accept a paltry £3.7m fee for his transfer. And he’s wishing Gibbs a blissful career ahead.
