Alvaro Morata unsettled over probable new Chelsea manager

Spain international striker Alvaro Morata is reportedly unsettled over the rumors linking former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique to the Stamford Bridge in the summer, according to reports.

According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, the former Real Madrid player is not happy with the report that Antonio Conte would be leaving the Premier League Champions in the summer after two years as the Blues boss.

Morata was singed by the Italian manager in the summer window for a club-record fee of £80million, and he believes his playing-time might reduce should Enrique take over as Chelsea boss.

The 25-year-old striker was in brilliant form for the Blues in the early stages of the season, but the injury he picked up in the first half of the season halted his growing reputation as one of the strikers to watch out for in Europe. Having returned from injury, Morata is yet to rediscover his fine form as he has played seven league matches without finding the back of the net.

The Spaniard could be out of the season due to the back injury he picked up on the training ground. Though the length of the injury is yet unknown, but it’s believed to last up to two months for full recovery.

Luis Enrique is also being monitored by Premier League side Arsenal and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-German as Unai Emery is set to Leave the Parc de Prince stadium by the end of the season.
