Harry Wilson has been banging goals for Frank Lampard’s Rams Derby County this campaign as they continue to push upward for a promotion from the Championship.
Wilson is a thrilling figure to watch at the Championship side, but moots of a return back to parent club Liverpool has been doing the rounds.
And it appears the echo surrounding his switch back to Melwood has gone up a notch.
Wilson’s captivating deliveries for Derby has had Reds fans calling for his pull out from the Championship side. Though Reds have yet to give a nod to the idea, former Chelsea and England legend Lampard can still keep the youngster. And that has former Blues midfielder punching the air with excitement.
Derby has received nothing summoning the frontman back to The Kop and Lampard is very hopeful they can keep him for the rest of the season as agreed.
“I have heard nothing from Liverpool, which is good news – no news is good news,” Lampard said.
Wilson has been pivotal in as many games as he’s featured for Derby from the previous half and Frankie is hopeful he can go many notches up.
He added: “I hope he stays with us because I think it has been good for all parties, so far.”
