Almost Done: Jose Mourinho sanctions deal for South-American star dubbed as new ‘Rooney”

Manchester United have been somewhat busy as the transfer window reaches its climax despite Jose Mourinho’s insistence that he is open to not seeing a fourth summer signing at Old Trafford this summer.

The fans are engulfed in the stories linked the club to several widemen, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Gareth, and RiyadMahrez being on the frontburner. However, fresh report has it that Andreas Pereira could be set for a move to the Netherlands in few hours.

After claims that Valencia chief Peter Lim jetted into Manchester to broker a deal for the creative midfielder emerged last week, Dutch news outlet, UD, are reporting that Mourinho has agreed to let Pereira join Utrecht on a temporary transfer.

The 21-year-old is keen to play regular top-flight football, as a result he has chosen the rocky path to ply his trade in a lesser known League rather than stick it out in Man United. The likes of Juan Mata, MaroauneFellaini, and Paul Pogba are all above him in the ranking order of midfielders, and despite his exploits at Granada last term, he is set for another loan move to accelerate his development.

Pereira was a regular in the preseason games but has not feature in any of the EPL games this season. However, he is still very much in Jose’s plans for the future.

He has been dubbed as new Wayne Rooney.
