Almost done: Chelsea to announce transfer of pacey full back

It’s been hard convincing Maurizio Sarri to get a mention in his starting line-up and former Serie A player Emerson Palmieri has continued to struggle to get his attention.

And this time around, Blues could lose him to Serie A football powerhouse Juventus.

Juventus are waiting in the wings to sign the star after sniffing around on the situation over his future at Stamford Bridge.

Juventus are preparing to find a replacement for Leonardo Spinazzola ,and former Roma star Palmieri who joined during Antonio Conte’s era is on the cards.

Spinazzola has only been debuted once in Juventus’s flogging of Bologna in the Coppa Italia after a lengthy injury spell. But reports suggest he wants to switch club and Juve are in the market to attempt signing fringe player Palmieri.

Bologna have eyes on Spinazzola already and are hoping to land him on loan, with an option to buy on the table, but boss Massimiliano Allegri wants to hold on to Spinazzola a lit longer.

Nonetheless, it remain unclear if Spinazzola will make the switch, but Juve won’t take their chances as they fear building preparations for a Champions League trophy on the sand.

Palmieri is being targeted, and though Chelsea stance on the matter has “no deal” written all over his future, Juve are keened to press hard for his move should Spinazzola eventually jump the bandwagon exiting the outfit and join another foreign club.
