England international Gary Cahill is on the radar of a host of clubs. The England defender has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this term, following the arrival of Maurizio Sarri in the Summer.
Aston Villa, Southampton, West Ham and Arsenal are reportedly fighting for his services.
French Ligue One side Monaco has entered the fray. Monaco are struggling with frailties in their backline and club boss Thierry Henry is keen on fixing that in the January transfer window.
Cahill has struggled to rack up enough playtime this term that could suggest Chelsea may be willing to keep him tied down.
The defender however, will be offloaded in January. Talks floating about have suggested Monaco could stoop the defender up in the coming weeks.
According to BeinSport Journalist Matt Spiro, Henry has added Cahill in his shortlist of defensive targets he is aiming to bring to the French club.
Henry is hopeful Cahill’s arrival will add some experience to his side given how much achievements the Englishman has had under his belt since playing for Chelsea.
Chelsea are willing to loan Cahill out until the end of the season before eventually letting him go.
