Liverpool have finally settled talks with former Jurgen Klopp assistant Zeljko Buvac.
Buvac has been out of the job as the Reds assistant manager. It was unclear why he cleared his desk at Anfield, but reports say it was due to personal reasons.
The 57-year-old has remained a Reds employee since last year, however due to issues that have been withheld from the media, Buvac will finally be on his way out.
Buvac, called “The Brain” by Klopp has been the German tactician’s right hand man since they first met at Mainz 17 years ago.
Liverpool will finally part ways with the former assistant who shoes had been filled by former NEC Nijmegen boss Pep Ljinders.
Buvac quitted his role at the club just before the return leg in Rome against Italian side Roma, with no leaks as to why he made such a strange move.
Klopp once described the man as his best signing despite his reserved conflicts with the club.
Liverpool are atop the Premier League log, with four points clear off Premier League holders Manchester City.
