Alvaro Morata was recently linked with a shocking move to Hammers West Ham. The Spaniard footballing career is at jeopardy in Chelsea. Morata is finding it difficult to nail down his berth at Stamford Bridge despite on the top of his fitness.
To save his footballing career from further slip ups, the Spaniard representatives are considering options away from Chelsea, says Spanish news outlet AS.
This means a move to Premier League side West Ham has not been ruled out for the struggling striker.
Morata was shoved aside at the top of the pecking order by Frenchman Olivier Giroud, slimming his shots at getting featured regularly, particularly snatching a spot in the Spanish national team.
Morata was sliced off the team sheet of Spain’s 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
But it is understood that Morata is determined to make Enrique’s squad and getting more nods will only get him the slot.
Offers from Italy have reportedly been coming in, but the move to West Ham has been the loudest since hitting news outlets.
Morata has managed just two goals in five League games for the Blues and that doesn’t speak well for the former Juventus star on the papers.
Nonetheless, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will budge and agree to a possible loan offer.
