The agent of England international and Manchester United left back Luke Shaw has played down the possible transfer of the player away from the club this summer, this report is according to Manchester Evening news.
Luke Shaw has come under the spotlight following speculation linking Danny Rose with a move to Manchester United. There has been widespread speculation that the Red Devils could offer Shaw in a swap deal for Tottenham’s left wing back Danny Rose.
Rose granted an interview earlier this week and the star reckons that he would love to move up North at some point in his career, and that stirred speculation that United could snap a deal for him before the close of the transfer window.
Shaw played a bit-part role for Man United last term – he managed just one League appearance between November and March as he was reduced to the fringes. Nonetheless, an injury scuppered his return to the team of the Red Devils in the draw against Swansea.
Shaw was part of United’s team that traveled for their pre-season tour in the USA and Jose Mourinho revealed that the 22-year is recuperating well and could be back in action in September.
Jonathan Barnett who represents Gareth Bale and Luke Shaw spoke with International Business Times and he said
“Luke Shaw is going to be one of the best left-backs in the world.
“Manchester United love him and Luke Shaw loves Manchester United.”
Mourinho made bare his mind about Luke Shaw last season when he urged the star to work harder and the star revealed that he’ll step up his game.
Man United are interested in signing Gareth Bale, Mourinho could as well use Barnett to broker the deal. Bale is valued at £90m.
