José Callejón agent gives Chelsea the clear to sign the Napoli star. The forward has tallied 73 goals for the Naples side and according to Gazetta Dello Sport, he wants a taste of the Premier League.
The former Real Madrid man has been earmarked as a target for soon-to-be boss Maurizio Sarri.
However what is left to wrap the whole deal is for both clubs to set an official meeting date and draft out a reasonable deal for the player says agent Manuel Garcia Quillon.
Nonetheless, Quillon revealed he has yet to hear of any interests coming from Chelsea for his client and that the Blues have yet to contact him on any information regarding Callejón.
However, he leaked out the expiring date of the 31-year-old’s release clause.
Speaking on an Italian radio, he said: His release clause expires on June 30.”
“However, I can deny having any contacts with Chelsea, Villarreal, Valencia and Milan for him”.
The Napoli star has two years left on his contract at the Naples club and despite talks milling around about him being unready to exit the club, that may likely change in the future for the 31-year-old.
Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League last term and were toothless against the opposition during the second half of last campaign.
