Aaron Ramsey has sent messages to the Arsenal board demanding that they tell him why they decided to take a contract offer from the table.
The Welsh midfielder is in his final months at the Emirates outfit. He has not put pen to paper to signal continuation at the Emirates. The Gunners captain, rather, wants to know why the board took an offer off the table in the early days on negotiation.
Ramsey who captained the Gunners as they defeated Sporting Lisbon 1-0 I the Europa League on Tuesday night, has now confirmed he was almost signing a contract extension with the London club. However, Arsenal decided to rescind the offer.
In his drive for answers regarding the reason for rescinding a tabled offer, the Welshman said: “Hopefully, somebody will come up and tell me why. I will accept if there is a reason.”
Ramsey confessed that there are no contract offers for him at the club in the present time. The Gunners captain further vented his frustrations at such behaviour from the club’s hierarchy toward him.
Having started just once in English Premier League this season, Ramsey remains uncertain to start for the Gunners when they face Crystal Palace on Sunday.
He has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United.
