Denis Suárez has been offered to Arsenal as Welshman Aaron Ramsey prepares for his exit away from the club in January.
Ramsey wouldn’t take a knockdown fee to extend his stay at Arsenal, and the English outfit are set to offload him in January, despite saving the Gunners on a number of occasions this term.
With Ramsey’s exit imminent, Unai Emery is already on the hunt finding his replacement.
Suárez could easily step in and take up Ramsey’s role at the north London club. The Spanish international has fallen out-of-favour with Ernesto Velverde and is angling towards a move away from the outfit.
It is understood Barcelona have sanctioned his exit and the player’s representatives have reportedly sent words to various clubs of the midfielder’s availability in January.
The former Manchester City player has barely featured this season for the Catalans.
Barcelona are willing to sell off Suárez at a cut-rate fee of 14 million pounds. Whether Arsenal will take the bait, it is still unclear. Meanwhile, they are already facing a stiffer competition for his services from local rivals Chelsea. Maurizio Sarri is keen on the 25-year-old’s services.
