£90m bid accepted, Liverpool agree Philippe Coutinho move to Barcelona, personal terms agreed

Speculations over Philippe Coutinho transfer to Barcelona are rife this morning with claims that Liverpool have accepted a  £90m bid for the player, reports the Express.

Barcelona are preparing for life after Neymar and they have had Coutinho on their transfer radar even before the transfer of Neymar to PSG. The Camp Nou giants currently have a hefty transfer war-chest and they are keen to use a chunk of the recouped funds to lure Coutinho to their side.

The team of Liverpool is currently built around Philippe Coutinho and Klopp is wary of losing his most priced asset. However, they might not be able to resist a huge offer for the player as it is given that money rules the transfer market.

Barcelona had offered  £72million to Liverpool for Coutinho but the Reds values him more than that amount. However, there are claims that the Bluagrana side has improved upon their initial offers and the Reds have accepted the offer believed to be worth £90m, claims ESPN Brazil.

There were reports Earlier today that the player agreed personal terms to join Barcelona. Negotiations have been successful between Liverpool chiefs and Barcelona for the transfer of the player, the report further claims.

The report further claims the deal could be completed before Wednesday so that Coutinho can participate in Barcelona’s Curtain-raiser game against Real Madrid.
