9 changes made in Arsenal probable 4-2-3-1 line-up against Qarabag

Arsenal take on Azerbaijan side Qarabag in the Europa League Cup today and Unai Emery traveled with a strong squad to face the side.

The Gunners have won their last seven games consecutively and a win today will stretch their streak to the eight. However, with a Premier League game in sight on Saturday, Emery is expected to heavily rotate his squad.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was left out of the party that traveled, this is because of the diplomatic tension between Mkhi’s country Armenia and Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh territory.

The player would have been allowed to traveled but he asked to be left out.

Aaron Ramsey also sought the permission of the manager to be left so as to be with his pregnant wife. We also hear that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not travel with the squad but Emery has enough players in his Arsenal to deal with Qarabag.

Injury news

Sokratis is back in training after he limped off the Gunners win over Everton with a dead leg. He did not feature against Watford but he is likely to start today as he has returned to full training.

Kolasinac has been training with the first team and he would be given the nod on the left flank.

This is how Arsenal will likely line-up against Qarabag.
