Among the big four of the Premier League, Chelsea are the only Club that are yet to confirm the signing of any player in this window, but there is much time for Antonio Conte to sign whoever he wants.
Chelsea have had an initial offer for their transfer target Alex Sandro rebuffed but latest report by the Express has revealed that the Blues will improve upon their £52m ($66m) offer for left back.
Antonio Conte is currently on holidays in Italy but he seem unhappy with the preparations of the Premier League Champions ahead of next season. Last week, Chelsea had an offer for Sandro rejected but they will now offer £60m which if accepted, will be a club record signing and make Conte happy.
Sandro had a barnstorming season with the Scudetto holders last season but the Old Lady are understood to be willing to let him make a move if he’s satisfied with Chelsea’s term.
However, Chelsea are not the only Club that are in the chase of the player. Manchester City, and Paris Saint Germain are all interested in signing the left back but Conte wants him more as he sees him as an upgrade to Marcos Alonso as a wing back.
Chelsea should not make an offer of £60m for a left back – I am not saying the Brazilian is not worth that amount but if such sum is lavished on him, it will amount to reckless spending.
